A Thailand trip is incomplete without a visit to Bangkok. Hence, post our incredible time in Phuket and Krabi, our journey through Thailand led us to the bustling city of Bangkok. This time our trip was extra special as it was our first trip post lockdown after a gap of 8-9 months. The old and heritage city Agra known as the ‘city of Love’ not only has the marvelous Taj Mahal but also has the splendid ITC Mughal. ITC’s luxury collection hotel is situated in close proximity to Taj Mahal and is a tribute to the Mughal builders of the past as this hotel is historic and is inspired by the heritage Mughal monuments like Fatehpur Sikri and Agra Fort.
I love the vivid culture India has where one gets to learn about different religions as well as their festivities. I have enjoyed the splendour of Christmas as much as I enjoy Diwali so when I got an invitation for a Ramadan Food Walk from Novotel Hyderabad Airport we could not say ‘NO’. After a 2 hour flight we landed in Hyderabad, the City of Nizams from where in a few minutes we entered the plush and beautiful hotel. A look around and I was captivated with the serene surroundings filled with greenery and nature.

As I crossed the fashion zone of Pout Café, I entered Penthouse, a modern lounge & bar located at Greater Kailash-1. The restaurant has the look & feel of a classic English bar highlighted by the neutral palette & dark wood décor. I was quite pleased to see the stylish outlet with aesthetically pleasing interiors. The lounge had nice round and square tables with comfortable chairs. The seat we chose to sit on had an innovative table. It had a trunk shaped table with a sofa.
The beauty and wellness industry has always interested and inspired me in some way or the other be it a facial, massage, manicure, pedicures or simple threadwork so it was a day when I entered this amazing spa called VLCC day spa. One look at the spa and I forgot all the heat and the trauma of the day as I felt good and relaxed and wished to stay there and get all the services and benefits within the warm confinements of the spa. The ambience of the spa was very warm, earthy, peaceful & serene with all the diyas lighted in every corner be it the Buddha statue, the interiors in chocolate and caramel colours all so aesthetically done, the footprints on the walls, the lotus drawing, the pictures which reminded me of some ancient ayurveda rituals like the panchkarma and shirodhara all for relaxation of the body, mind and soul. It was a divine feeling; the enchanting bliss that u want to pamper, relax and get indulged in the sin and temptation of getting clear skin, hands & feet.
As you enter Levels located above Raasta at the third floor in Hauz Khas Village, you’ll find a telephone booth and a picture of the London tower with comfortable sofas giving a British feel.
The owners Sahil & Avneesh have started this restaurant called Levels based on a unique concept of division of floors. The restaurant is 3 floored wherein each floor will have a different theme & music and you will just have to switch floors to be in the other theme. The cuisine is mostly deep American & Mexican with the burgers, enchiladas, fajitas & pastas. The interiors of the restaurant are done in black & red & the ambience added a rocking appeal the place. It’s a new concept & idea and they have introduced unique dishes on the menu for people to enjoy with the liquor & food (global cuisine).
The Palaash pageant finale held at Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon was a dream event for many girls as the six-month long hunt for India’s next supermodel ended with a glittering and unforgettable event with Chandigarh girl Ms Aittal Khosla winning the coveted title of Miss Palaash 2015.
The SDA Market has a new station for foodaholics- it’s the Canadian submarine or the Canada based Mr. Sub. The restaurant is beautiful done with lots of hoardings (like the ancient walls of US).
