While at Phuket, we chose the villa life, all thanks to the luxurious and heavenly beachfront landscape abode ‘The Vijitt Resort’. Villas surrounded with coconut palm trees, tropical plants, lush green grass and fruit trees flourish and create an unspoilt landscape. I would say, it’s an ideal holiday spot, infact a romantic getaway. Amidst the nature (the trees and the native flora), the villas are positioned to blend with the surroundings providing an authentic Thai experience as close to nature. The architecture and design beautifully amalgamate to provide the guests an enriching and beautiful experience.
Our first International trip post Covid had to be special. Afterall we waited for 3 long years to go overseas. We chose to go to Thailand, a destination which I did explore a few years back and absolutely loved it. So why not relive the nostalgia!
Considering how special our trip was, our abode had to be even more special. That’s why we chose Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa, it’s not a hotel or a resort, it’s the quintessential idyllic island retreat. This 5-star Marriott Bonvoy beachfront lifestyle resort comes with unique design, inspired by nature which offer guests a chance to explore Phuket from a new perspective through spontaneous discovery.
While at a hotel, it’s not only the room I look forward to but it is the view from the room which gives me greater happiness. That’s what I was looking forward to at Novotel Mumbai. Beaches have always fascinated me. Maybe because there is not even one beach in my home city. So when I was planning to visit Mumbai I chose to stay at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach, a breathtaking beachfront property located in the financial capital of India. It was a special trip. I was in Mumbai for 4 days and had a jam packed itinerary which included receiving an eminent award plus attending Lakme Fashion week.
It was hard to resist travelling over the last 8 months. Finally, we thought of taking the plunge, packed our bags, picked the car keys and headed to Agra for a royal stay at ITC Mughal.
This time our trip was extra special as it was our first trip post lockdown after a gap of 8-9 months. The old and heritage city Agra known as the ‘city of Love’ not only has the marvelous Taj Mahal but also has the splendid ITC Mughal. ITC’s luxury collection hotel is situated in close proximity to Taj Mahal and is a tribute to the Mughal builders of the past as this hotel is historic and is inspired by the heritage Mughal monuments like Fatehpur Sikri and Agra Fort.
During the pandemic, the internet has been our go-to place whether it is for a meeting or to shop. With the upcoming festive season I want to dress my best and what better than to buy lehenga online for my elegant and glam look. Lehengas have always been a charm and this piece of clothing has witnessed a drastic change over the years. My fancy at the moment is crop top lehenga.
A special occasion is meant to be spent with loved ones at a special location but not every time it is possible to pack your bags and catch a flight to an exotic location. With Nidhi’s birthday approaching we wanted to make it GRAND but with limited timeframe, it wasn’t possible. BUT we found a way to make TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE. A grand retreat with a drive of 1.5 hours from our residence in South Delhi! So we packed our bags and took the road less travelled to ITC Grand Bharat, Gurugram. ITC Grand Bharat is set amidst the ancient Aravali hills and is conveniently located just 45 kilometers from New Delhi.
Situated on a sprawling 300-acre estate, ITC Grand Bharat, a Luxury Collection Retreat, Gurgaon, New Delhi is a luxury hotel offering world-class all-suite accommodations, bespoke services and outstanding facilities. It features a sparkling outdoor swimming pool, a full-service spa and wellness centre, and a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course.
It was now time for Kuta the popular tourist area of Bali known for beaches and resorts and we checked into Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, a dreamful destination. Yes, it’s so big, beautiful and splendid that I would choose to call it a destination rather than a hotel. For a family of 5 who didn’t want to restrict staying at different rooms connected by inter-room phones, we got the perfect solution without compromising on anything. Thanks to the Discovery Suite of the hotel which comprises of 2 bedrooms and 1 living room. The beautiful suite offered a home away from home with a Master bedroom featuring a King bed, private bathroom with tub, sofa, work desk and LCD television. There are also Junior Suites and Family Suites to suit the need for various guests. Well, the guests here rarely ever want to step out thanks to beautiful offerings they have. With 7 restaurants and bars, 9 function spaces, a spa, a fitness center and a spacious sculptured pool, it caters to leisure and business travellers alike. If you want to shop, you can head to Discovery Shopping Mall which is a few steps away. You can read more about the hotel here.
We all adore what our celebs wear and most of the times try to imitate the same style. Afterall a lot of the fashion comes from Bollywood movies whether it’s the Madhuri Dixit’s outfit from Hum Aapke Hain Kaun or Deepika Padukone saree from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. We all love every bit of it.
Recently I attended Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2020 held in Mumbai. The star studded affair spotted our favourite celebs from Bollywood on the ramp as well as the front row. Let me give you a download what the designers showcased and what our Bollywood celebs were spotted wearing:
