A Thailand trip is incomplete without a visit to Bangkok. Hence, post our incredible time in Phuket and Krabi, our journey through Thailand led us to the bustling city of Bangkok. This time our trip was extra special as it was our first trip post lockdown after a gap of 8-9 months. The old and heritage city Agra known as the ‘city of Love’ not only has the marvelous Taj Mahal but also has the splendid ITC Mughal. After a 2 hour flight we landed in Hyderabad, the City of Nizams from where in a few minutes we entered the plush and beautiful hotel. While the first 5 things is what we experience every year but the last thing is something that is difficult to manage. We love the festivities and crackers but what we don’t realize is how it’s harming people who have chest congestion or asthma. This time was even worse for most of us because of the smog. According to the World Health Organization, air pollution causes more than 3 million deaths a year and India is among the two most-polluted countries in the world. The Ministry for Science and Technology in India described the air quality after the festival celebrations in Delhi as “severe”.

They say “relish the mystical flavors of Asia and delight your senses at EEST with distinct cuisines – Chinese, Japanese and Thai crafted to capture the essence of province of South East Asia”. I completely agree with their description of the restaurant.
Walking to the eatery carved intricately, EEST looks quite impressive and a very calm space for a quiet meal. Extremely bored and done with the loud nightlife around Sector 29 of Gurgaon, I quite liked the peaceful meal here. If one wants to spend an evening with their people talking, I think this is the place. Very light instrumental music in the background and dimly lit space, EEST has its own beauty to attract you.
As you must be aware that Team ChicLifeByte was off to a trip to Heiwa Heaven, a luxury resort in Jaipur and post check in at the forest theme resort and meeting Aarti Bansal, General Manager of the resort we headed for lunch at the beautiful forest theme restaurant called Nirwana Woods! The 100% vegetarian restaurant had interiors dominated by barks of the tree, stems and plants which made our dinning experience even more blissful. Even the outside of the restaurant was given a rock carving which gave a unique look.
