This time our trip was extra special as it was our first trip post lockdown after a gap of 8-9 months. The old and heritage city Agra known as the ‘city of Love’ not only has the marvelous Taj Mahal but also has the splendid ITC Mughal. After a 2 hour flight we landed in Hyderabad, the City of Nizams from where in a few minutes we entered the plush and beautiful hotel. A look around and I was captivated with the serene surroundings filled with greenery and nature.

The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) recently announced the show schedule and list of designers for the 31st Edition of the Amazon India Fashion Week in association with Nexa Autumn Winter 2018. The five-day event will be held from March 14-18 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

I really struggle hard with time investment for my little angel’s upbringing. It is tough to maintain a right balance between career and motherhood but what I am doing today is for my child’s better upbringing. Just after giving birth to Kiara, I was surrounded by a lot of curiosity raised by my relatives and friends that how am I going to cope-up with my career and the journey of motherhood. To bargain between the two was very difficult, one being the dream with which I have been raised up all my life and the other being my daughter, the most important part of my life. But I was very certain that I am not going to compromise in any circumstance whatsoever when comes to my child’s bright future and would like to give her the best amenities and facilities from her initial upbringing stage itself.
A friend of mine got married recently and it was time to build a new house in a city where they had been living since long. However, their parents stayed in a different city and the new couple had to find a house for themselves in Delhi where both of them were working. Freelancing has its pros and cons. Infact, a research says that 38% like the profession on account of being one’s own boss & income growth. While I have the freedom to work on my own terms, which I love, what I don’t like about freelancing is the irregular income. I hate it when payments take as long as 6 months while delivery of the work is always ASAP. When work is done as per deadline, why do we have to wait for payments!

While we saw models who made stunning impressions in the designer garments, Orient Electric made an interesting move by associating with Delhi Times Fashion Week as “Smart Fans Partner”. Along with that at the event there was a display of two of Orient Aero Series fans namely Orient Aerostorm & Orient Aerolite. The fans come with 18 pole motor to deliver an astounding air delivery with heavenly silence. Aerostorm in particular gives an impressive 300 cmm (cubic meters per minute) air delivery.
