Being a travel enthusiast, Airport is one of my favourite spot 🙂 And airport isn’t only about aircrafts or flights but a lot of other interesting things….like shopping and food!! Team ChicLifeByte did give you a review of Delhi Duty Free a few days back and this time it’s about food. So while I was taking a flight from Terminal 3, I stopped by at Plaza Premium Lounge of the Indira Gandhi International Airport situated on Level 1 of the airport (the same level where you have the food courts) post collecting my boarding pass and clearing security check.
How many of us dream of skin like Cleopatra? Are you one of those too? Beauty of Queen Cleopatra intrigued many men and women for centuries and Team Chiclifebyte have taken a step to make your dreams come true! We were recently invited for a bloggers meet by a brand called Organic Harvest, India’s only homegrown brand with an entire range of organic skin care products which speak of nature in its purest form.
Organic Harvest started in 2013 which specializes in hair care, body care and skin care products that are safe and highly effective. The launch that we were invited for was for the launch of Activ Range which has 7 variants. The Activ range has effortlessly captured the essence of Greek Mythology with organic flower & fruit extracts as principal ingredients. We were quite impressed seeing the range in its fresh packing in green. It did lift up our mood. The hydration range comes with a moisturizer, gel and serum while the retention range comes with a serum and cream. We got to know “Initially, the ‘activ’ range was created to bring back the naïve elements used during the Greek mythology era. The “Back2origin” completely justifies this activ range as they literally went back into the history and after a thorough and intensive research of 2 years, the true potential of these highly impressive actives have been beautifully brought together, in seven variants, to cater all types of skin ailments”.
Ever thought of wanting to dearly meet somebody & you meet her sitting in front of you looking elegant in a black robe dress and the curly locks which she flips with her strong cappuccino discussing about her play UNFAITHFULLY YOURS. I am talking about the gorgeous Mona Singh here who was present along with her co-actor Rohit Roy at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, the capital’s newest Leela property.
Baked, fried, toasted, roasted, boiled, steamed, raw and fresh or prepared and preserved with the harmonious mix of love and culinary talents (just like your ever-favourite Tops Pickles); if this is how you prefer your tastebuds to be treated, then you fall under the hearty category of “foodies”. For this bunch of food-lovers, dishes and cuisines are not merely a regular, cumbersome affair; rather a flavoursome ritual, where each morsel is cherished and every bite touches the sensitive cords of the heart. Not for nothing has such a love for food been celebrated daily by thousands of people around the world, but also quite aptly its joy and pleasures have been referred to as “food porn” by the netizens. Welcome onboard the journey to the centre of the heart – food!
One of the highest points of this foodsome journey is the fact that it is all-inclusive, it takes into account the eccentricities of its various patrons; the health conscious ones, the mid-night bingers, those with a nose for the junk and even the plain old homely food lovers; there’s something for everyone. As varied and wholesome the community of foodies around the world is, there’s a dedicated platform, a social network connecting people for the love of food. Foodiye.com is a unique online space that allows food-lovers to connect, share and express their mutual affection for scrumptious, delectable and tempting savours
Looking for a place to enjoy a relaxing evening after a long, hectic day at work… a day of celebration… or simply for a change from the oh-so-typical hangouts in NCR… Quaff is the place to be. Situated aptly distant from the hustle-bustle and providing you and your gang your space, this place is a must checkout for its offerings.
Accommodating 40-50 outside and an approx. 125-130 inside, the space can be soon known as your “adda” going forward. The seating outside is casual and inside more chic and retro (all hard-wood seating without cushion needs a mention though!).
The first thing you notice once inside is their big bar counter, almost extending from one end to the other, hosting an elaborate assortment of international spirits. (And, by elaborate, I really mean elaborate – You can actually gasp looking at such a collection. Hats off to the creator!). Right behind the bar is the microbrewery made well visible via a big see-through glass, just to give you a feel that you are at the right place to Quaff. The place has been designed so as to accommodate the maximum without giving a house-full cluttered feel. Each sitting place has a uniqueness of its own. The lighting is apt – not too low for you can’t recognize who’s sitting next to you and not too harsh that you wear your shades inside and not seem out of the crowd. All in all, a decently built place.

Spice, salt, pepper & now sweet momos!! This is what is special that Team ChicLifeByte saw in the variety of momos at Wow! Momo. Now for those who don’t know Wow! Momo, it is a cafe which offers different kinds of momos.
Wow! Momo offers different varieties of momos – pan fried, steamed, fried, tandoori & also dessert momos (chocolate). They have very different and nice stuffing of ingredients in their momos. What’s interesting is the different varieties of momos have different colour, size & shape. The cafe also serves Thukpas, Momo Augratin & the Moburg (the momo burger).
Who doesn’t love some pampering and when the act is done with fresh and handmade natural soaps, toiletries, bath & body products, it’s even better… Actually the best! This love is shown by none other than our own home grown company ‘Vert’. Team ChicLifeByte was recently invited by Vert for a bloggers meet at their store located at DLF Place, Saket.
‘8 Cities, 8 Chefs, 8 Cuisines – All under one roof’ is how Marriott Courtyard describes Indian Culinary Week, what we were excited about was that we are getting to eat authentic food from 8 cities under one roof, so one evening Team ChicLifeByte took the route to Gurgaon to try out the variety of cuisines. The buffet set under the night sky (we went for dinner) was an experience in itself. Every cuisine was given its own space in canopies which were beautifully decked up bringing out true flavours of the particular region. We also met respective chefs from each city who gave us insights to the food from their city.
This was done to celebrate individuality, unity and the spirit of culinary excellence, the chefs showcased an elaborate range of dishes from across cultures and cuisines. The festival served popular and rustic cuisines ranging from Konkani, Garwali, Andhra, Rajasthani, Tamil, Kerala, Bengali and Punjabi Cuisine. The Culinary stage saw the presence of Chef Thirumal from Bengaluru Marriott Whitefield, Chef Deepak Rana from JW Marriott Mussorie, Chef Ranjit from Jaipur Marriott Hotel, Chef Uday Karmalkar from Courtyard By Marriott Mumbai, Chef AmruthaValli from Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre, Chef Mithun Mohanan from Courtyard By Marriott Kochi, Chef Chiranjeet Mandal from Courtyard by Marriott Raipur and Chef Amarjeet Singh from Courtyard by Marriott Gurgaon presenting the best of their local cuisines.
