Motherhood- a bliss with big responsibilities

Lifestyle February 28, 2018

Motherhood is no less than a blessing for a lady. My life completely changed after giving birth to Kiara. It is a bliss yet it comes with great responsibilities. Being a client servicing professional with an Advertising agency is a tedious task for a young woman who has recently become a mom. Late evening meetings, lengthy presentations, and sharp skills to make creative team understand client’s brief requires lots of patience and positive temperament. I really struggle hard with time investment for my little angel’s upbringing. It is tough to maintain a right balance between career and motherhood but what I am doing today is for my child’s better upbringing. Just after giving birth to Kiara, I was surrounded by a lot of curiosity raised by my relatives and friends that how am I going to cope-up with my career and the journey of motherhood. To bargain between the two was very difficult, one being the dream with which I have been raised up all my life and the other being my daughter, the most important part of my life. But I was very certain that I am not going to compromise in any circumstance whatsoever when comes to my child’s bright future and would like to give her the best amenities and facilities from her initial upbringing stage itself.

Home Loan EMI vs a monthly rental

Lifestyle February 22, 2018

A friend of mine got married recently and it was time to build a new house in a city where they had been living since long. However, their parents stayed in a different city and the new couple had to find a house for themselves in Delhi where both of them were working. They looked at a variety of options in the Delhi as well as NCR but they realised that the rentals were really high. Paying a heavy rent every month was not what they would ideally want to do but the solution they came up with was even better. They thought of an investment, not in shares or bonds but in their own house. Isn’t that a great idea? Instead of a rent, they chose to pay an EMI for their home loan.

Freelancing: our gateway to live life on our own terms!

Lifestyle February 6, 2018

Freelancing has its pros and cons. Infact, a research says that 38% like the profession on account of being one’s own boss & income growth. While I have the freedom to work on my own terms, which I love, what I don’t like about freelancing is the irregular income. I hate it when payments take as long as 6 months while delivery of the work is always ASAP. When work is done as per deadline, why do we have to wait for payments!

We all have those flowy silhouettes which add the glam quotient to our outfit while attending a party or an event but when I choose an outfit I make sure it’s fuss free so that I can be at calm and enjoy the evening. One such outfit which I wore for #AIFWSS18 was this alluring outfit consisting of an off-shoulder crop top paired with a graceful long skirt from Timeless Tapestry by Prishaa. I have honestly never worn a crop top before and neither did I ever think it will look good on me but somehow seeing the beautiful outfit, I could not resist myself and Priyanka Sharma, the founder of the brand ensured that it will look good on me. So, I excitedly waited for a few days for my customized dress to arrive!
