Veda’s 10 glorious years of serving authentic Indian Food.

Food January 28, 2016

Veda is a place in CP where we can have delicious Indian food with high quality standards & taste and an ambience which is mesmerizing & which one can never forget be it the dim candlelights or the mirrors and comfortable sofas & chairs. I call it the emperor’s dungeon where you see tall crystal glasses shining in the light (majestic & palace like) and the feel so Aristocratic and classic. The elegant royal mirrors and the luxurious décor is intricately done as the aura leaves you spell bound. The ambience will cast a spell and leave you ecstatic! It is simply breathtaking and the magic so real, captivating & alluring enticing with the glass, mirrors & candlelights lit with the demeanour of the holy devil of fashion world Rohit Bal with his imagination so rich & it makes your heart & senses travel to another world of rich tastes & authentic flavours.

A day at Delhi Duty Free

Travel January 24, 2016

Who doesn’t love to shop without paying any international duty and that’s what we have done at Delhi Duty Free a million times. From a last minute pick from Mango to making your trip filled with fragrance from the Perfume section, we have done it all. Afterall, we girls can never resist shoppingggg. So, when Team ChicLifeByte was invited to Delhi Duty Free for a bloggers meet, I was quite excited. The place has everything from Perfumes to liquor to accessories in a layout spread across 440m2 which also makes it India’s LARGEST duty free retail space.

I was impressed with the security check at Terminal-3. Though it’s a different experience when you are at the airport as a traveller but this time we were there as a blogger. We had already sent across our ID proofs through E-mail for the security pass which we personally collected. We were then directed to Terminal 3 where we witnessed the things which we spoke about. Yes, from brands like Pandora, Victoria’s Secret, Hugo Boss, Armani Jeans, Mont Blanc, Mac to chocolates like Butlers, Lindt, Cadbury’s, Smarties, Guylian, Mars. I was actually impressed seeing the variety of brands and products. I felt they have increased the variety from my last international travel.

Restaurant Review: Farmout, Gurgaon

Food January 13, 2016

Healthy food & fine coffee that’s what I was looking for until found Farmout, a place in Galleria Market, Gurgaon. Farmout was started by 2 friends Arijit Ganguly & Amit Meena. You can call it a small cafe which smells heavenly of freshly baked cookies, coffee & sandwiches. It’s a reasonable & affordable place with a small live kitchen for quick service.

The place started with a few items but now has around 20 kinds of coffees all fine & smooth with the taste of Blue Tokai Beans. This one is certainly the best in taste. The freshly grounded beans are roasted every week for making the best & superior blend, a pure organic rich coffee blend with fresh aromas of fine & rich coffee beans.

A new chit chat cafe “The Coffee Shop”.

Food January 10, 2016

Coffee Lovers- here’s a shout out for you! Newly opened ‘The Coffee Shop’ is a corner shop in the PVR market, Saket. With decent interiors, soothing music, polite, quick and courteous staff, the place for sure is one of the most recommended hang out places in the vicinity. This place is exactly where a coffee lover would love to be.

Economically priced, each sip of the amazing coffee is absolutely worth it! The menu has some good grub options as well. A special mention to the fact that there are some “Super Food” menu items to be tried for all my health conscious buddies.
