A weekend getaway is the most welcoming thought and when I got an invitation to Hotel Mosaic Musoorie, I was pretty excited. Just the thought of going to the hills gave me enough joy so imagine what feeling would the actual hills given me. Without much delay, I said yes and landed at Mussoorie, the queen of hills post an early morning train journey till Dehradun followed by an hour drive to Mussoorie!

This new year, we thought of exploring a new country with a new passport (got it renewed last year) in a new style and that’s when I logged on to Miway Fashion, obviously after doing my tickets and accommodation! It was time to explore Thailand, a country known for tourist sports, beaches and loads of shopping. Obviously if we were travelling that far we wanted to explore much more than one city and we decided to explore Bangkok, Pattaya as well as Phuket. Now with so much to explore we needed different kind of outfits, obviously because some evenings were supposed to be on the beach while some days were to be spent shopping while some time were dedicated to adore the scenic beauty of the land and city hopping was also in our to-do list!!

End of a hectic week with a relaxing evening at Taksim

Ansal Plaza had become nostalgia! It was our hub during school days for every need, whether it was about hanging out with friends at a nice café/restaurant or shopping. Gradually, it lost its charm to other fancy malls and in no time we forgot our favourite place.

Recently I got to know about a new eatery called Taksim which opened up at this place which was our so called ‘adda’ at some point of time! I could not resist myself as I finally reached Ansal Plaza on a Friday evening to get the same feel I used to get years back and to try the new eatery!

Palate fest: ChicLifeByte’s choice during the Foodie’s weekend!

10^th to 12^th February 2017 was known as the foodies weekend coz there were 4 food festivals taking place in Delhi NCR. In just one weekend it was impossible to go to all 4 food festivals, so we had to choose one! I had never been to Palate Fest before so I chose to go there. Held at Nehru Park, it opened doors from 11 AM to 11 PM from Feb 10 to 12, 2017.

Palate Fest Reimagined 2017 is known as an all-encompassing Food & Music Festival jam packed with exclusive fine-dining restaurants & world class chefs, Palate fest has proven itself to be one of India’s best culinary events, loved by families and the youth alike. So Team ChicLifeByte with an empty stomach went ahead to explore the culinary delights from the best of the restaurants under the open sky! The big wide lawn with colourful branding of the fest welcomed us whole-heartedly!

This New Year brought alive new hopes in me and the travel bug in me was getting restless. That’s when I decided that I should explore a new country with a new passport (got it renewed last year).
