The recently concluded Bombay Times Fashion Week witnessed leading designers showcasing their creations on the coveted ramp but one show which I absolutely loved was of KALKI Fashion. The master of fashion fantasies, KALKI always ensures a captivating show and this time it was a preview of the much awaited couture collection, ‘Athena Collection by Kalki Fashion’. Athena, the Greek Goddess represented wisdom, and feminism, she was the patron goddess of heroic endeavour. Keeping in mind, the collection exuberates the spirit of youth and aspires a woman to wear the grace of wisdom with class.

Phuket: The land of beaches, fun and Fantasea!

After Bangkok and Pattaya, our next destination was Phuket, a rainforested, mountainous island in the Andaman Sea which is known for popular beaches, old shophouses and busy markets. We chose Patong, the main resort town to host us which is an area full of life, thanks to the great hotels, nightclubs, bars and discos!

Open View Estate: Our perfect abode where we could all stay under one roof!

When you are a family or a big group, you need a cozy space where you can all chill together, plan together and stay together! I have personally been on multiple trips in a group with friends or family but what I have always hated is being confined to different rooms in hotels (and sometimes on different floors) which at times bound us to even basic communication. We do keep a track of each other on Whatsapp or phone extensions but it’s not too convenient most of the times. It looses the whole purpose of travelling in a group.

I did find my perfect escape to a peaceful, calm and serene land. A 10-hour beautiful drive led me to a captivating location in Uttarakhand. No, it wasn’t to the usual hill stations that most of us would have visited all life long!

Fashion Week is not only what we see on the ramp but I love the fashion which we also see off the ramp. It was Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn Winter’18 {#AIFWAW18} on the ramp but off the ramp we were all celebrating the arrival of summers experimenting with our clothes as well as accessories. I love to experiment during fashion week because that’s where trends are made. I had to be in Lucknow known as the city of Nawabs and while I was choosing where to stay I decided Novotel Lucknow. Located at Gomti Nagar, which is a 30 minute drive from the Airport as well as the Railway station, it boasts of being one of the best 5-star hotels in Lucknow that too when the hotel has just turned one. Yes, the hotel which started its operation on May 1, 2017 has an occupancy of 106 rooms which are mostly sold out on any given day. With 92 superior rooms, 12 executive rooms and 2 suites, the hotel is well-equipped to understand the growing needs of its consumers.
